Mystery Author's Benefit Luncheon

Project H3: Home, Health, Hope is a collaborative effort of community members from the non-profit, governmental and business communities in the Greater Phoenix area striving to end homelessness in our communities.

Project H3 is working alongside Common Ground as part of their 100,000 Homes Campaign. During the week of April 19-23, 2010, over 163 community volunteers and dedicated experts used Common Ground's Vulnerability Index to survey 260 persons experiencing street homelessness who are at the greatest risk of premature death.

This prioritization will target limited housing resources to those most in need, thereby saving lives and impacting the community through an immediate visible reduction in street homelessness and use of high cost emergency services.

Project H3: Home, Health, Hope Project H3 VETS is a special initiative based off Project H3 and the 100,000 homes campaign to house chronically homeless veterans. Project H3 VETS will use the Vulnerability Index Survey to prioritize the most medically vulnerable homeless veterans living on the streets in the Phoenix Metro area. The project will utilize the HUD-VASH supportive housing program to provide permanent housing and supportive services which includes case management, social support, and mental health services to chronically homeless veterans.

Project H3 VETS will include community partners, navigation teams, and Local, State, and Federal agencies, utilizing the process/practices learned during Project H3 to house chronically homeless veterans.
